Light Design, Tour and Technical Director
Taranna Teatre was born in Denia in June 1995, and it is the only group in the city that offers, at that time, a theatrical proposal different from the sainete in the town and the region, performing, as an amateur group, productions such as «Todie, amor meu’, directed by Antonia Díaz, «Lisistrata», directed by Santi Gomar or «Allo mai vist», directed by Sergi Claramunt.
Beginnig
From the beginning we have made and produced several theatrical productions, and at the same time we have worked on the training of the components of the company, with several teachers.
Trainings
With this training we have been achieving the professionalization of the members of the group.
Clown
We got to know the world of clowns at the hands of Dafni Valor and Placid Rosaleny, and we consolidated our training in this technique with Sergi Claramunt, artistic director of Payasospital, who, in addition to directing the show «Allo mai vist», will introduce us to the Hospital clowns.
Later we put on other clown shows such as: «Les 5 estacions» and «La Clownputxeta», of collective creation and direction.
We have represented our works in all parts of the Valencian Community, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
Tour
Beyond performing numerous shows, we have participated in and organized various events throughout the Valencian Community, such as inaugurations of the Espai Trobat in Benissa, performances of sketches at the sports events in Dénia, dynamization of the award ceremonies of the Nodrissa group photography contest or the inauguration of the commemorative acts of the 50 years of Cinema in Dénia, where we represent our own vision of a day of filming the film Captain Jones.
Causes
We have also collaborated in different charitable causes, which leads us to travel twice to the Saharawi Refugee Camps, to perform clown shows.
We are currently carrying out the “TarannasSOS, Hospital Clowns” project at the Denia hospital, carrying out clown interventions in various services for adults and children.
