‘Morir d’amor aquí’ is a transversal project between scenic art professional and local socio-educational intervention that takes as a starting point William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet text for reflect on the non-operability of love in contexts where they are imposed patriarchal paradigms of violence and domination. «Here is work with him hate; but more with love ”. This idea structures the dramaturgy of the scenic proposal and determines the guidelines of the contextual intervention: we are going to think about love and hatred and we will do it with 5 young people from Terrassa (Catalonia), who dedicate themselves in a self-taught and self-managed way to RAP.
TRANSlab coordinates the intensive immersion of these 5 young people in the world of competitive fencing, musical composition with digital props and staging to staff them with the necessary tools that allow yourself to be an active part and protagonist of the creation team of ‘Morir de amor aqui’.
