My name is Edu Bolinches and I have been a lighting designer and technician by profession for more than 28 years.

I started in the career of lighting and technically producing shows, after seeing a play by the best Spanish and Catalan comedy theater company called Els Joglars. There I realized that I wanted to dedicate myself to it, but from the technical side, in the shadows. So I put together my skills learned with my father as an electrician and electronics for the family business, in addition to my studies as a graphic and industrial designer, at that time, my aspirations to architecture, my training in music in conservatory, oboe and bassoon , and my desire to create atmospheres and make emotions felt together, with the words and gestures of an actor.
And I have dedicated most of my life to this.

This portfolio briefly summarizes some of my participation in the ephemeral show, since everything happens at that moment and for that person who is the audience.

Whoever lived it remembers it, whoever did not experience it … I recommend that you do so.

My skills and strengths are the Technical Production from the workshop to the exhibition, the artistic Lighting from the hand of the Stage Director, the Plans, Constructions, libraries for the lighting consoles. Besides, as technical director of the company, review of workshops, set-up of equipment, training of personnel and help in artistic production in constructions, 3D renders and plots. And obviously as a lighting and video engineer for performances every night.

There is that moment when light generates emotion, that is my constant search. If there is no magic it does not serve me, if it does not excite me first, it is because my light is not alive.
